An event that authentically connects our local talent and the organizations that need them in ways that traditional networking events or job fairs simply don't. This is a high-energy, hyperlocal event that features dueling, open-mic pitches where companies looking for talent, and people that have talent, each deliver alternating 60-second pitches. The event is followed by a casual but impactful networking reception.

Member News
Member Tip of the Week
This week’s tip comes from member, Tim Miller of Blowing Rock Frameworks & Gallery and his tips for Visiting an Art Gallery are as follows:

Have an open mind! Not all art is created equal, and if you have something in mind for a certain space, you may not find what you want. Keep your mind open to different sizes, colors, mediums, and subjects. Do some research. Check out the gallery website to make sure they have things by artists that you like. Some galleries, like ours, keep the website completely up to date with online inventory and will even sell and ship paintings to you wherever you are! Do not hesitate to ask questions about the paintings or sculptures, the gallery attendants love to chat about their passion. Check gallery hours before visiting. Sometimes museums and galleries run on different schedules than other retail stores. Give them a call or check their website. Do sign up for their emails and follow them on social media. This way you will always see what’s new and fresh. Lastly, enjoy it and take your time. Visual art is one of the greatest expressions of human creativity, enjoy it!
