We need your help with selecting our 2019 Chamber Award Winners. 
Tell us, "who" is the best in the following categories:

·    Best Customer Service
·    Service to Community
·    Jerry Burns Ambassadorial Award
·    Business of the Year

Be sure to include a description of "why" your nominee should win the award.

Our membership committee compiles all nominations and sends the ballot of finalists in each category to all Chamber members for popular vote to determine the final winners, which are announced at our Award Luncheon on Feb. 11th.


Ads and Updated Business Listings for 2020-2021 Visitor Guide due January 11th
It's time to reserve your ad space in the 2020-2021 Visitor Information Guide & Member Directory - the most requested publication in Blowing Rock! Download the sales sheet for details and pricing.

We're also asking all members to trim your business descriptions for the guide and our website for simplicity and consistency between listings. Please visit the online Google form to provide an updated description limited to 250 characters (including spaces). Or if you prefer, email your description to sarah@blowingrock.com.


4th Annual Economic Kickoff Breakfast
Hosted by the Blowing Rock & Boone Area Chamber of Commerce

The 22nd Annual Blowing Rock WinterFest is quickly approaching. Visit the WinterFest website for a full list of events. Email Suzy@BlowingRock.com if your business is hosting an event of special during WinterFest weekend to have that information share on the website and social media.

Act fast and purchase tickets today! The 5:30 and 6:45 pm seating of WinterFeast are SOLD OUT. Limited tickets are still available for the 8:00 pm seating. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Chamber at 828.295.7851

BRAHM's Scholars & Scones: Hugh Morton
On Thursday, January 23rd, 2020, from 11 am - 12 pm, Jesse Pope will lead a conversation at Blowing Rock Art & History Museum about the past, present, and future of Grandfather Mountain State Park. The talk will focus on the life and legacy of Hugh Morton, founder of Grandfather Mountain nature preserve.



The Mountain Thread Company hosts Paper Snowflake Contest
The contest will run from Jan 6th - 20th.
Winner will be announced during WinterCraft on Friday January 24, 2020 from 5-8 PM in the courtyard next to The Mountain Thread Company at 1098 Main Street, Blowing Rock.

Weekly Yoga Classes at BRAHM are back!
Starting Friday, Jan. 17th
Classes offered for $10 on Fridays from 10:30 - 11:30 at the Blowing Rock Art & History Museum.

Take time to unwind and restore yourself for the weekend with a gentle yoga class presented by High Country Yoga.
Props and mats provided; bringing own mat is suggested.
