The Cycle North Carolina
Mountains to the Coast ride begins this weekend in Blowing Rock.
Over 900 cyclist will be in town starting Friday evening, filling
restaurants, hotels and shops! Plan for the crowd! They will
depart Sunday morning for their ride to the coast.

Theatre and Dance Showcase Begins TODAY at 7 pm, thru Sunday

The
Appalachian State University Department of Theatre and Dance proudly
presents its first production of the season, the 2019 First Year
Showcase. The production takes place in I.G. Greer Studio Theatre on
the university campus with 7 p.m. performances from Thursday, September
26 through Saturday, September 28 and a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday,
September 29. Tickets are $7 for students and $12 for adults and
available in person at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts box
office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., by phone at

Mystery Hill
presents Firefly Nights on Tomahawk Hill, 5-9pm on Fridays &
Saturdays through October 26! A fun family-friendly evening of knife and axe throwing,
archery, blowguns, corn hole, darts, ring toss, music, and hanging by
the fire pit making smores. Front Porch

Wrist bands for unlimited throws are $20 for adults and $15 for kids

Rendezvous will perform, refreshments and a cash bar will also be
