Tuesday night was a fun kickoff to our first Business After Hours of the season. Hosted by our friends at Premier Sotheby's, we enjoyed great food and great networking. Paige Taylor, managing broker for the Blowing Rock Sotheby's office reminded us that many of their current brokers came from Village Real Estate and Blowing Rock Gallery of Homes and Land, so they've been doing business here for a long time, even though they are all now operating under the Sotheby's umbrella. Several new members made connections, including Pete Welter, a professional DJ and entertainment company who offers live game shows; Neil Elam, professional chauffeur and owner of Charlotte & Beyond Transportation; and Irene Sawyer with the High Country Breast Cancer Foundation.
Our next Business After Hours networking event is April 10th at ZapFitness, our world-class Olympic training center, located at 9560 Blackberry Road, Blowing Rock.
