Farmer's Market Begins Today! Every Thursday, May 23 - Sept 26 3 - 6 pm on Park Ave. in Blowing Rock Art in the Park begins Saturday! The show dates for 2019 are: May 25 June 15 July 13 August 10 September 7 October 5 blowingrock.com/artinthepark Art in the Park (celebrating its 57th year!) has an estimated 2 Million Dollar economic impact each year on business in Blowing Rock, according to an ASU study! On Sunday following each Art in the Park, we have Concerts in the Park under the gazebo in Memorial Park. This week we feature Blowing Rock Community Band. Symphony by the Lake Tents There are a few tent party locations in the center section that are not yet reserved. This is a great opportunity to host a private party or to promote your business or non-profit organization to an audience of 3,000+. More info and pricing can be viewed on the Symphony website. Back 2 School Festival Kickoff TONIGHT at F.A.R.M. Cafe The Back 2 School Festival will be holding its annual kick-off on May 23rd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the F.A.R.M. Café in Boone. Artist in Residence Begins Saturday Artists in Residence at Edgewood Cottage begins Saturday, May 25! The program presents free art shows, with an opportunity to meet different High Country artists each week. Visitors to the shows can buy original art directly from artists. Scholarship Rummage Sale Blowing Rock Women's Club will have a rummage sale at the American Legion Building on Wallingford Street. Casting Bread's 4th Annual Ducky Regatta, June 1st Food, games and fun - all to benefit Casting Bread Ministries’ efforts to eradicate food insecurity and poverty in the High Country. Blowing Rock Woodworks & Alair Homes High Country to Host Open House on Saturday, June 8th Blowing Rock Woodworks and Alair Homes High Country are hosting an open house event on Saturday, June 8th, 12 - 5pm. It is a free event and open to the public, free food and light refreshments. Food trucks and local beer vendors will also be present. More info
