Always on Sundays following Art in the Park, Sunday Concerts in the Park offer free, family-friendly entertainment! Bring a lawn chair or blanket! The 2017 Season of Concerts in the Park is sponsored by Diamond Properties and kicks off with Bluegrass/Folk/Blues by Handlebar Betty! 


Summer Shopping Hours Survey
This year, the Chamber will again promote all retailers who agree to remain open past 5:00 pm and open earlier on weekends by promoting your closing hours on a nice rack card that will be presented at hotels front desks as well as in the visitor's center at the Chamber.

The Mountain Ninja Warrior community fundraiser and competition is returning to High Gravity Adventures! Planning is underway for this all-day event to be held on Sunday, October 1st, and this is the call for your business to get involved! Midnight at the Oasis

Celebrating 39 years of service, information and shelter. OASIS (Opposing Abuse with Service, Information, and Shelter) is a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Watauga and Avery Counties.

Expert Panel Event

This “multi panel” event offers three great panels on topics important to local professional women. The format of the event offers the chance to attend two, 45 minute panel discussions.

Gallery Bus Trip to Greensboro

25th Anniversary Celebration

Presentation will include site review and analysis, gateway and streetscape alternatives, facilitated discussion with council, stakeholder and public meeting, and complete concept level plan.
