Chamber News Blowing Rock WinterFest - January 27-30, 2022 Upcoming Meetings & Events Blowing Rock WinterFest - Jan. 27th - 30th Blowing Rock Town Council Retreat - Postponed to Feb 14-16 Blowing Rock Chamber Awards Luncheon - February 15th Volunteer at WinterFest Blowing Rock WinterFest is January 27 - 30 and we need volunteers! We could not pull off WinterFest without all our business partners and volunteers. Sign up to volunteer here! A huge thank you to our WinterFest Sponsors: Hendrick Luxury Group, Granite Insurance, The Spice & Tea Exchange and The Speckled Trout Restaurant. 2022 Business After Hours Dates Wednesday, March 9th - Edward Jones Wednesday, June 8th - First Citizens Bank Wednesday, September 14th - Available Wednesday, December 7th - Available Business Before Hours The purpose of Business Before Hours is to provide members of the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce the opportunity to enjoy networking in an informal setting. We realize that the Business After Hours schedule and/or environment doesn’t always work for all members. Therefore, we have Business Before Hours as an alternate networking event.     Hosting a Business Before Hours gives the host business a chance to showcase their organization to the business community. Business Before Hours are scheduled quarterly in March, June, September and December. Hours are from 8:00 am – 9:30 am unless otherwise specified.  We have 2 open dates available for hosting if you are interested. Please call Cathy Barker at 828-295-7851 for more information. Chamber Awards Luncheon The votes are in! Come join us for the Blowing Rock Chamber Annual Awards Luncheon Sponsored by SkyLine SkyBest and see who the big winners are. The luncheon will be held at the Green Park Inn on Tuesday, February 15th at 11:30am. Tickets are $35 each and will be available for purchase tomorrow, January 21, by call 828-295-7851. Seats will be limited due to Covid restrictions so don’t wait to reserve your seats.  Restaurant Hours With unpredictable staffing and abrupt changes in travel patterns due to covid-19, restaurant hours have been changing often. The Chamber of Commerce is currently maintaining a listing of Blowing Rock restaurant hours. The hours are updated weekly. Bookmark this page for reference so you can help your guests and customers when they are looking for dining!  Restaurant Hours List Watauga Covid-19 Update  In areas with substantial and high transmission, the CDC recommends that everyone (including fully vaccinated individuals) wear a mask in public indoor settings to help prevent the spread of the Delta variant, and to protect others. Watauga County is considered an area of High transmission. AppHealthCare offers COVID-19 testing by drive-thru Monday through Friday 8:30-10:00am at each of our clinic locations.
