Happy Thanksgiving

 

We want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!  With the many challenges our community has faced this past year, Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce would like to express our gratitude for our member's continuous support and contributions to our success. The Visitors Center will be closed Thanksgiving day and will re-open Friday & Saturday from 9am-5pm. Chamber staff will return Monday, November 30th. Christmas Cheer Contest! The Holiday Decorating contest will be live on Facebook from Dec. 11-24th. The public will be asked to vote by "liking" the image or images of their choice!   All business are encouraged to enter. Awards will be given to a retail business for Best Window Display and to a business for Best Indoor or Outdoor display.   Email Suzy to enter the Holiday Decorating contest by Dec. 9th. Holiday Stroll Don't forget - the Holiday Stroll is Friday, December 4th from 4-8pm. Downtown Blowing Rock Retailers will be open late for Holiday Shopping and Cheer! Stay Healthy this Holiday Season AppHealthCare is asking you to celebrate Thanksgiving safely. Remember to Wear a Mask, Wash your Hands, and Wait 6-feet from others when possible. Read NCDHHS tips for hosting a safe Holiday Gathering. With cases on the rise in North Carolina, Gov. Roy Cooper, has issued Executive Order No. 180 which will go into effect on November 25th at 5pm. Face coverings will now be required in all (public & private) indoor settings if there are non-household members present, regardless of the distance away. In restaurants, guest are required to wear face covering at their table unless they are actively eating or drinking. Phase 3 has been extended to December 11th.
