“Count on Me NC” initiative the North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association (NCRLA), along with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS), the North Carolina Tourism Bureau (VisitNC), and the North Carolina State University, just launched.
“Count on Me NC” is a program specifically created to provide customers reassurance that participating restaurants and businesses, including lodging, have implemented and are practicing the highest sanitation and safety measures. COVID-19 has disrupted the lives in many communities, but the need for blood for patients in need hasn’t changed. A patient needs blood every 2 seconds. Volunteer at blood drives to support your community.
Blood Donor Screeners greet donors and ensure those entering blood drives have a healthy temperature. PPE is provided.
Time Commitment: One 5-6 hour shift per month; Flexible– sign up for shifts that work with your schedule!
