cutting! Come celebrate High Gravity Adventure's new feature - a 1,000 foot
long zip over the Tweetsie Railroad trestle that ends with a heart pumping
70 foot "free fall" experience!
Symphony by the Lake is just around the
corner, Friday, July 28th! This year's theme is "Oh the Places You'll
Go" and it's going to be great!
Gates open at 5:30 pm, Todd Wright Quintet
begins at 5:45 pm and Symphony of the Mountains Orchestra at 7:30 pm.
Fireworks immediately following!
Advance tickets are $40 ($15 for kids
under 12) and can be purchased online, in person at the Blowing Rock Chamber
of Commerce or by calling 828.295.7851. Will call tickets must be picked up
at the Chamber prior to the event.
If you wait to purchase at the gate, tickets are $10 more and
it will take you longer to get in!

Chamber for a copy. These are great to share with hotel guests and
visitors who are looking for something to do after 6 pm!

Bring your furry friends and enjoy great
food and drinks for a cause! Cafe Portofino will donate 10% of food and
drink purchases to support Watauga Humane Society's SNIPS program
(Spay/Neuter is a Positive Solution).
Impressionist Joan Sporn will be at the
gallery with 20 new oils. As the best-seller for the gallery, it's always
fun to hear what Sporn has to say about her new work. Many of the paintings
