Stefano Laviano Ribbon Cutting and Business After Hours at SouthMarke

Despite the threat of rain, many gathered for the combined ribbon cutting and Business After Hours on Tuesday, August 21.

At 5pm, we celebrated the recent opening of Stefano Laviano. Stephen Lavine (third from right) is the founder and president and with the collaboration of his daughter Lauren Lavine, they have designed an exceptional array of exquisite alligator skins and accessories. He has several retail outlets and chose to open in SouthMarke in Blowing Rock due to the proximity of the Broyhill Equestrian Preserve. His other NC location is at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.

Immediately following the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to sign in and receive instructions for a scavenger hunt taking them through the stores in SouthMarke. The grand prize for the scavenger hunt was drawn from a fishbowl for this beautiful stocked picnic basket.

Each store offered a gorgeous spread of food and there was a full bar available. Guests thoroughly enjoyed the thrill of the hunt, the drawing for door prizes offered from every store, and fellowship throughout the shopping center. They stayed and mingled until the very end!
